While some of the SF2 soundfonts here are direct conversions from the original soundbanks, many of these have also been manually created by contributors from scratch. As a result, these may be of varying degrees of accuracy, so don't expect these to sound perfect. The DLS-to-SF2 soundfonts are direct rips so they are almost accurate to how they sound on real hardware.

It is advised to record these using the original soundbank files (DLS, HSB, etc) when possible. However, these may not always be available, such as with Sony Ericsson's earlier banks.
